Elke regel in een concept verwijst naar een specifieke regel in je eigen bewijs. Ondersteunt je CV een eis niet, dan wordt het hiaat benoemd — niet gladgestreken.

Over ons
Omoikane is een privé, AI-ondersteunde werkruimte voor je zoektocht naar werk — voor carrièreswitchers, mensen die terugkeren op de arbeidsmarkt en neurodivergente werkzoekenden. Het dekt de hele cyclus — eerlijke matchscores, CV op maat, sollicitatiebrieven in je eigen stem, sollicitaties bijhouden, netwerken en ondersteuning na plaatsing.
Omoikane is de shinto-kami van het beraad — de godheid die andermans gedachten verzamelt om de wijste koers te vinden. Dat is de kern van het product: pauzeren, wegen, beslissen. Het geeft je een eerlijk beeld of een baan past, zodat je zwakke matches kunt laten lopen in plaats van overal op te solliciteren.

Ik bouwde Omoikane terwijl ik zelf werk zocht in Nederland — gekwalificeerd en gemotiveerd, maar verdwaald in een proces dat vrijwel geen structurele begeleiding bood. Hoe langer ik zocht, hoe duidelijker het werd dat dezelfde kloof veel mensen raakt: carrièreswitchers, iedereen die herstelt van een burn-out, mensen die terugkeren op de arbeidsmarkt en neurodivergente werkzoekenden in een systeem dat niet voor hen is gebouwd.
Omoikane is gebouwd vanuit die geleefde ervaring — niet alleen vanuit marktonderzoek.
De zoektocht naar werk minder eenzaam, minder oneerlijk en minder overweldigend maken — door gestructureerde loopbaancoaching te combineren met AI die in jouw stem schrijft, banen scoort tegen je echte profiel en nooit bewijs verzint.
Een wereld waarin elke werkzoekende een privé, intelligente werkruimte heeft die hen als heel mens behandelt — niet als trefwoordmatch — en helpt werk te vinden dat past bij wie ze werkelijk zijn.
Omoikane is een onafhankelijk project, in Leiden gebouwd door zijn twee makers. Geen aandelen, geen leningen, geen advertenties en geen verkoop van gegevens. We werken er onbetaald aan tot het product zichzelf kan dragen.

What "personal data" means here
Per GDPR Article 4(1), personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. For Omoikane that includes your email, name, CV content, application history, diary entries, calendar events, and — if you connect LinkedIn — the subset of profile data described below.

Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, and object — each realised in your account settings. If anything is broken or unclear, write to privacy@omoikane.coach and we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your national authority — for the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Children
Omoikane is for users 18+, or with explicit consent of a parent or guardian. We enforce this with a one-time age-confirmation gate at first sign-in — it stores a single timestamp, never your date of birth or any ID. If you believe a minor provided data without consent, contact privacy@omoikane.coach and we'll delete it.
Optional, revocable any time. Integrated under the EU Digital Markets Act. When you connect, you authorise a snapshot of the following, kept in sync while your connection remains authorised:
We do not request your connections, messages, search history, ad-engagement, or payment data. Drafting sends only the per-draft subset to the LLM provider for your tier — your own BYOM provider; the managed tiers (not yet open) are planned to run through Mistral (EU). See the Sub-processors list for each provider's transfer basis. Revoke from LinkedIn's Permitted services panel — revocation triggers removal, full cascade within 7 days. The OAuth token expires after 12 months, requiring fresh consent.

What we promise never to do
The negative list from the Security page is incorporated into these terms by reference and forms a binding promise. If we ever change one of those promises, we'll write to you, give you 30 days to export and delete, and keep the old promise in force during the notice window.
Liability
Omoikane is a workspace that helps you draft applications. Your applications are your own. We don't represent you, vet companies, vouch for the postings you submit, or guarantee any outcome from any application you send.
The drafts the system produces are starting points. You read them, you approve them, you send them. Your name is on them; you own what gets sent.
Termination
You can close your account anytime, from settings. We can close your account if you violate these terms — we'll write to you first if it's not an emergency.
Governing law
Dutch law. Disputes go to the district court of The Hague — the competent court for our Leiden seat — unless you're a consumer in another EU country, in which case your local consumer-protection law applies.
Legal entity.
This page satisfies the disclosure obligations under Article 3:15d of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) and Article 5 of the EU e-Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC). It is the canonical legal-entity reference for partners, platform integrations, and identity-verification reviews.
