The default. Bring your own LLM API key from one of seven supported providers; we route your AI requests through your account so the cost lands on your bill (typically $0–$5/month for active job-search use).

Why default to BYOM-Free? Because charging unemployed users to recoup our $20–60/month of LLM compute is structurally broken. BYOM keeps the product accessible without burning operator runway.

Operator-paid LLM compute included. No BYOM key needed; we route through Anthropic Claude (US data residency) on our keys.

Pick this if you’re applying at higher volume — say 10–20 applications a week during an active search window — and want zero-friction LLM cost handling.
Donation · €5–50 / month
Same quota as BYOM-Free. Supports operations without LLM-cost benefit. You get a “thank you” badge on your profile.
If €5 is wrong for your situation — student rate, between jobs, supporting someone — write to us. We’d rather have you here than not.
What we won’t do
- No “team” plans. Job-search workspaces are personal.
- No “recruiter” tier. Recruiters never get access to your data.
- No usage-based pricing on managed tiers. The cost of one application is the same as the cost of fifty (within your tier’s compute budget).
- No silent fallback when your BYOM key fails. We never charge our managed account on a tier where you’re meant to pay. Failed BYOM requests return an error you can act on.
- No dark patterns. Cancel from settings in two clicks. Export everything before you cancel.
Managed tier pricing in EUR. VAT included for EU customers. Stripe is the processor of record (Ireland). BYOM provider charges are billed directly to your account by your chosen provider; omoikane never sees those payment details.
